Have been wanting to get back to blogging, but everytime I want to do it, I will feel lazy =___=
But here it is, first post of 2013! Still within January lol
Playing with the toaster's heat this morning when making breakfast; 3 different colours ~ Toast and fresh blend carrot juice.
I havent taken alot of pictures of Eri lately; I think its probably coz of the face-up. Rainy season is here and its not good for a face-up session in my opinion :( I've got Eri a new wig! The colour is so pretty, and I've noticed that this wig went out of stock after I ordered. So, lucky me! Been looking for this colour for awhile now and so happy I got it now ♥
The face-up just doesnt compliment the wig colour :| Need to change the face-up soon!
Note that Eri's original hair colour is white; and I've never thought of getting any other wig colours for Eri. So this means that I 've got this wig with an objective of course~ ;D The first step of THE project has started!

Just attended a dollmeet past Sunday and it was wonderful~
My lovelies got to meet lots of new friends and same for me, also meet up with friends :)

This wig actually doenst belong to me! Winnie let Kafka tried it and blond is such a versatile colour to suit anyone :D Kafka looks good in blond? But not a straight cut fringe I guess lol

But my results are all good; but a little disappointed coz I had higher expectations :/

And so, after one whole full day for drying of Eutasiylas' body parts, restringing time !
As stated in my previous post, I don't have the 'appropriate' and 'proper' tools specially made for restringing. All I used were typical stationery I could find on my table; paper binding clips, paint brush and blue ribbon.
Oopss, no warning again lol. Sorry...don't have any suitable preview photos in my set ;_;
I am not very good at describing steps; so most of the talking are done by the pictures themselves lol.

Started with one side first ~ Clip the string at the other end to 'stopper' it ~
Place paint brush through the loop at the end; then place the S-hook on the hand to hook onto the string ~
And one side is done ! ♥
Place the blue ribbon strand through the string loop at the other end ~
Throughhhh all parts ~
Similar to the previous one ~

Upper body done ! ♥
Folded string through the neck hole ; 'stoppered' by big S-hook ~
Throughhhh the holes of lower body ~
String through parts of one side of leg ~
On to the other leg ~!
Done !!
But...noticed one mistake?
I forgotten to hide the knot inside the neck oTLLLLLLLLLL
So...I had to unstring the legs and lower body again....
And redo the restringing all over again

My MSC spray officially finished after spraying both Eutasiylas' and K's bodies ;_;
Thus, I cannot do any faceup for now oTL
Should have brought another can from home...coz its more expensive to obtain here ;_;

Restringing wasn't that bad after all ! I could complete the process much faster compared to my first time :D I guess its all about having the courage to try it and then practice makes it better.
The joints feel a little tighter now though; but still alright for posing ~ ♥

I couldn't stand the dirtiness of Eutas' body anymore, needs full-cleaning since awhile ago; and so I finally unstrung the body ! First time unstringing and restringing a BJD body lol; I am such a failure as a doll owner ;_;
Wanted to do this long time ago, but was too afraid to disassemble the body - worried I would do it wrongly, mess up and after hearing to scary experiences of BJD body restringings QAQ
And also,I don't think I have any of the 'appropriate' tools for restringing. But, on this fine 1st of July, I just removed the big S-hook after hesitating for awhile - definitely no turning back lol.
All I used were normal table stationeries found on my table lol;

Took lots of pictures in the process of unstringing, so that I can refer back if I did a mistake !
Detached lower body from upper torso first ~
Loosened foot joint - detached S-hook from string -
One side done ! On to the other side ~
Bear with my hand =w=;; Nails are so long already oTL Time to cut !

Both sides done ~!
Upper body ~
Firstly, stretch the hand at the wrist - place brush through the loop of string -
Then, detach the S-hook from the string - ta da ~!
Same for the other side ~ and all diassembled ! ;w; //
I learned that a plier would be so useful for this ;_;
After some alcohol rubbing (to remove coated MSC and hands and feet blushing), time for some soapy bath soaking ~!
Cleaned, rinsed, drying ~!
Placed on labelled containers :3
A whole day for drying process, restringing for the next day.
