2012.06.12    Guess who? Welcome my precious back home! ♥  Finally my precious was delivered to me safely !!  Arrived last two weeks !    Never thought myself to fall in love and wanting to own a Dollfie Dream this badly D: To add on, never expected myself to bring home a DD ! oTL Always thought my next doll would be a SD-sized ABJD or a animal BJD lol... 

DD's are pretty, and their versatility and posability are awesome ! I have seen few really pretty DDs and MDDs (both in pictures and real life), but never had the urge to really want to own one - until this. She was such a heart-melter and heart-breaker; the first time and everytime I see her, she melts and breaks my heart countless times oTL 


She has such a unique face; with a twist of ABJD and more realistic style; which I think should be why I really adore her But I was really afraid I wouldnt bond well with her since I prefer to own a resin ABJD? And I have heard that DDs get stain much easier oTL 

Con 1: Visited VOLKS website at the wrong time. During Dollpa 27 period ;_; Always avoided VOLKS, tried not to delve into VOLKS... but...but...
Con 2: Fell in love at first sight - on-screen- to this beautiful DD
Con 3: It's a Dollfie Dream!! Never expected myself to want to own a DD that much ! D: 

After thinking through it...I thought its of no harm taking part in the lottery... and the more I look at her photos, the more I want her, I realised its not entirely an impulse thing (though I still think it is now lol) ;_; 

And..and.... Won the lottery !!! ;A;

Just went for her in the end; the long wait for her delivery was torturous! Kept track of my mailbox everyday for notification email from VOLKS... and so excited when I got it! But she got stuck at the customs for so many days, which delayed her delivery even further ;___; 

Con5: Torturous distracting wait. 

After almost 2 weeks, she is finally here She is absolutely gorgeous ;A; All my thanks to my beloved mama Momo and Grandpa Solomon !! ♥ Couldn't have gotten her home without them ! ♥ ♥

Haha ~ ♥ 'This side is up!'   Ahhhh doki doki My box-opening session was quite short coz I needed to quickly get back to studying for my exams.   VOLKS Official DD box ! Looks so generic lol. Seems so much less protection for the doll inside compared to packaging for ABJD. Sorry...never seen DD's box before, coz I have never seen any box-opening from DD owners before, first time seeing one D:   Dadadadummmm  The most anticipating part ~! Mmmmm smell of vinyl lol; not a very special smell compared to resin I guess lolol Bubble wrap creature with her official booklet, outfit and wig ! ♥   ♥ ;;;;A;;;;♥ ♥ *faints*meltssss*   The following are photos of the continued box-opening. Full post read only for those who do not find dolls and joints disturbing and creepy. May also contain mature content; although I did censor for my precious lady's modesty :D      Ahhhh standing! *amused*   She is so beautiful !! ♥ And she looks good in so many angles ;A;   The body is beautiful *_* So shapely and slender... ♥ She has the new DD body although I am still unclear of what's the difference sorry ;_;   Oops...what is that thing on her head lololol   Carved back-of-head ~   The feet are so slender ♥   I am so lucky to have her home ! ♥   Pinned, but not pierced ear ~   oTL I did not notice that her left elbow was coming off after posing her during the photo session... I suppose this is normal? Coz I could fix it back easily ;A;   Posing time ♥   And more angles ~ ♥   Official full set outfit ! ♥ Am glad every part is here, coz I've heard some owners received incomplete set, sorry D:   Oh and to mention, I did not fall for her for she was based on Rise from Persona 4 lol. And also she does not look like or resemble Rise at all to me. Just find her to have a really unique face (Many DDs have it too :) and adore her that way. All dressed up ! As Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4 ♥   Lighting is terrible...especially in my room, after the sun goes down D: Can you tell how fast it has gone dark from so bright in the earlier pictures? That short interval between sun up and sun down during winter oTL Pro 1: Loving her to bits. 
Pro 2: I think I am getting attached to her *v* 

Con 5: DD requires an entirely new knowledge for caring D: 

DD seems so much more fragile than an ABJD ! I am still getting used to posing her carefully and her joints oTL
